Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L.O.V. E. - 2010 by Maurizio Cattelan was auctioned at Artcurial in February this year. The price achieved of EUR 499.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurizio Cattelan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Him in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 17,189,000.00 (€ 15,436,910.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L.O.V. E. - 2010 von Maurizio Cattelan kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 499,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurizio Cattelan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Him im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.189.000,00 (€ 15.436.910,64).
