In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Moonlight Sailing changed hands for USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,804.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mauritz Frederick Hendrick de Haas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coastal Scene with Sailboat, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 72,000.00 (€ 53,519.66).
