A top price for Maurice Paul - as previously expected
The work The Beach At Oostende by Maurice Paul was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2006. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Beach At Oostende is the most expensive artwork by Maurice Paul that we have observed at auctions so far.
