This artwork by Maurice Paul achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2007. In the Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! auction, the work Etang à Boitsfort sold for EUR 900.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Paul - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Beach At Oostende, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 3,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Maurice Paul erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! wurde die Arbeit Etang à Boitsfort für EUR 900,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Paul mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Beach At Oostende beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert wurde.
