Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale !, which included the work The artist in his studio - A self portrait by Maurice Paul. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 504.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Paul have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Beach At Oostende in June 2006 with an auction result of EUR 3,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! durch, in der auch die Arbeit The artist in his studio - A self portrait von Maurice Paul zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 504,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Paul auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Beach At Oostende im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.000,00.
