Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bord De Rivière by Maurice Chabas was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,246.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Chabas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Néméa, 1894, which sold at auction in September 2017 for EUR 27,300.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bord De Rivière von Maurice Chabas wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.246,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Chabas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Néméa, 1894 beobachtet, die im September 2017 für EUR 27.300,00 versteigert wurde.
