In February 2011 Phillips in London held the auction The Valencia Collection, which included the work Cape Cod July by Maureen Gallace. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,558.33), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maureen Gallace - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Off of Sunset, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 63,000.00 (€ 56,792.57).

Im Februar 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion The Valencia Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cape Cod July von Maureen Gallace zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.558,33) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Maureen Gallace mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Off of Sunset beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 63.000,00 (€ 56.792,57) versteigert wurde.
