A top price for Matthias Dornfeld - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Big Magic Woman) by Matthias Dornfeld was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,595.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Big Magic Woman) is the most expensive artwork by Matthias Dornfeld that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Big Magic Woman) von Matthias Dornfeld wurde im Februar 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.595,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
