Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „untitled (big magic women)“. by Matthias Dornfeld was auctioned at Grisebach in May 2021. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matthias Dornfeld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Big Magic Woman), which sold at auction in February 2017 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,595.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „untitled (big magic women)“. von Matthias Dornfeld kam im Mai 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Matthias Dornfeld mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Big Magic Woman) beobachtet, die im Februar 2017 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.595,22) versteigert wurde.
