Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work The Holy Family With The Annunciation To The Shepherds In The Distance by Matteo Rosselli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,663.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Matteo Rosselli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diana The Huntress in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 92,644.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Holy Family With The Annunciation To The Shepherds In The Distance von Matteo Rosselli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.663,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matteo Rosselli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diana The Huntress im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 92.644,06).
