Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Matteo Rosselli could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work Judith And Holofernes changed hands for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 77,239.90) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Matteo Rosselli have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2017 by the work Diana The Huntress at USD 100,000.00 (€ 92,644.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matteo Rosselli konnte im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Judith And Holofernes für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 77.239,90) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Matteo Rosselli wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2017 die Arbeit Diana The Huntress mit USD 100.000,00 (€ 92.644,06).
