Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Adoration Of The Shepherds by Matteo Rosselli. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,809.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matteo Rosselli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana The Huntress, which sold at auction in January 2017 for USD 100,000.00 (€ 92,644.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Adoration Of The Shepherds von Matteo Rosselli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.809,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Matteo Rosselli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diana The Huntress beobachtet, die im Januar 2017 für USD 100.000,00 (€ 92.644,06) versteigert wurde.
