In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings, which included the work A Young Boy Seen From Behind, Holding A Sword And A Cap by Matteo Rosselli. The price achieved of USD 33,400.00 (€ 22,505.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00.
