Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tweety and Sylvester by Matt Gondek was sold in the My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in February last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 13,640.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Matt Gondek have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2021 the work Aggression was auctioned for HKD 239,400.00 (€ 26,217.18).
