In July 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Anger Issues (Grey Version) - 2021 by Matt Gondek. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,220.00 74% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matt Gondek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aggression in March 2021 with an auction result of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 26,217.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 74 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anger Issues (Grey Version) - 2021 von Matt Gondek zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.220,00 und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matt Gondek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aggression im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 26.217,18).
