Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction 24/7: Online Auction, which included the work Deconstructed Pig by Matt Gondek. The price achieved of HKD 16,250.00 (€ 1,799.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matt Gondek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aggression in March 2021 with an auction result of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 26,217.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion 24/7: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deconstructed Pig von Matt Gondek zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 16.250,00 (€ 1.799,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matt Gondek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aggression im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 26.217,18).
