Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped, which included the work Transformer by Matt Connors. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,230.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matt Connors achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Second Pitch - Shift in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped durch, in der auch die Arbeit Transformer von Matt Connors zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.230,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matt Connors erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Second Pitch - Shift im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81).
