It achieved a price of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,013.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Matias Faldbakken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Mdf) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 248,156.55).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Mdf) von Matias Faldbakken kam im April 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 46.013,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matias Faldbakken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Mdf) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 248.156,55).
