Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Matias Faldbakken achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December last year. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 22,758.68) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matias Faldbakken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Mdf) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 248,156.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matias Faldbakken erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 22.758,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matias Faldbakken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Mdf) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 248.156,55).
