Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Acephale (Grim Sacrifice) by Mathieu Malouf was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,276.00 (€ 3,841.79). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mathieu Malouf - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Prius 4, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,827.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Acephale (Grim Sacrifice) von Mathieu Malouf wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.276,00 (€ 3.841,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mathieu Malouf mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Prius 4 beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.827,57) versteigert wurde.
