Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Servant of Caiaphas; and Saint John the Divine - two fragments from The Crucifixion with an abbreviated story of the Passion by The Master of the Fiesole Epiphany was sold in the Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein auction at Christies in London in July 2008. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,881.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by The Master of the Fiesole Epiphany have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Madonna And Child With The Infant St. John The Baptist in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 102,500.00 (€ 139,280.11).

Die Arbeit The Servant of Caiaphas; and Saint John the Divine - two fragments from The Crucifixion with an abbreviated story of the Passion von The Master of the Fiesole Epiphany wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.881,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von The Master of the Fiesole Epiphany auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With The Infant St. John The Baptist im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.500,00 (€ 139.280,11).
