A top price for Meister B mit dem Würfel - as previously expected
The work Saint Barbara (Bartsch 12) by Meister B mit dem Würfel was sold in the Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints including Property from the Estate of Ernst Beyeler auction at Christies in London in September 2011. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,016.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Saint Barbara (Bartsch 12) is the most expensive artwork by Meister B mit dem Würfel that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Saint Barbara (Bartsch 12) von Meister B mit dem Würfel wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints including Property from the Estate of Ernst Beyeler bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.016,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Saint Barbara (Bartsch 12) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Meister B mit dem Würfel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
