Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art, which included this untitled work by Massoud Arabshahi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 35,000.00 (€ 27,932.96), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Massoud Arabshahi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Massoud Arabshahi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 27.932,96) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09).
