Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sacred Geometry by Massoud Arabshahi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 48,180.00 (€ 56,679.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Massoud Arabshahi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sacred Geometry von Massoud Arabshahi kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 48.180,00 (€ 56.679,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09) versteigert wurde.
