Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mason Chamberlin could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work Portrait Of A Gentleman With His Son changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,143.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mason Chamberlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Girl With A Robin, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,300.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mason Chamberlin konnte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
