Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Shichinohe Masaru could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Snow White changed hands for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,287.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shichinohe Masaru have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Praying Girl(Painted In 2012) in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 826,000.00 (€ 94,318.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shichinohe Masaru konnte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Snow White für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.287,32) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shichinohe Masaru auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Praying Girl(Painted In 2012) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 826.000,00 (€ 94.318,08).
