Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout by Masami Teraoka was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 158,217.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 2,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Masami Teraoka - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout, which sold at auction in November 2009 for HKD 4,820,000.00 (€ 414,685.87).

Die Arbeit The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout von Masami Teraoka kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 158.217,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 2.200.000,00 angegeben worden.
