Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roses in a white vase with a glass of wine and a pear to the side, on a table by Mary Gallagher was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints auction at Christies in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,782.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Mary Gallagher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses and a Red Fan in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,605.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Roses in a white vase with a glass of wine and a pear to the side, on a table von Mary Gallagher wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.782,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Gallagher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses and a Red Fan im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.605,95).
