Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,048.00 (€ 5,739.77). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mary Ellen Mark - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Clayton Moore - The Former Lone Ranger At His Home - Los Angeles, California, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,965.18).
