Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roses And Spiroea by Mary Elizabeth Duffield was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 533.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Mary Elizabeth Duffield have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with daffodils, cyclamen and anemones in ceramic vases on a ledge in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,275.18).

Die Arbeit Roses And Spiroea von Mary Elizabeth Duffield kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 533,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Elizabeth Duffield auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with daffodils, cyclamen and anemones in ceramic vases on a ledge im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.275,18).
