Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,601.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mary DeNeale Morgan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Overlooking Fan Shell Beach (Pebble Beach), which sold at auction in May 2000 for USD 19,975.00 (€ 21,414.02).
