Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Garden in Carmel by Mary DeNeale Morgan was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. The price achieved of USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,693.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mary DeNeale Morgan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overlooking Fan Shell Beach (Pebble Beach) in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 19,975.00 (€ 21,414.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Garden in Carmel von Mary DeNeale Morgan wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.693,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary DeNeale Morgan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overlooking Fan Shell Beach (Pebble Beach) im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.975,00 (€ 21.414,02).
