The work Marionette by Marwan was sold in the Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection auction at Christies in London in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 107,100.00 (€ 124,105.61), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marwan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kopf., which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 262,500.00.

Die Arbeit Marionette von Marwan wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 107.100,00 (€ 124.105,61) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Marwan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kopf. beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 262.500,00 versteigert wurde.
