Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Syriana by Marwan was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,999.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marwan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kopf. in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 262,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Syriana von Marwan kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.999,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marwan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kopf. im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 262.500,00.
