Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bill Clinton by Martin Schoeller was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,638.69). Admittedly, works by Martin Schoeller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Angelina with Blood, 2003 in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bill Clinton von Martin Schoeller kam im April 2011 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.638,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Schoeller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Angelina with Blood, 2003 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.849,95).
