Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,325.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Martin Schoeller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Angelina with Blood, 2003 in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).

Die Arbeit Angelina Jolie von Martin Schoeller wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.325,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Schoeller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Angelina with Blood, 2003 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.849,95).
