Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Angelina Jolie by Martin Schoeller was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April 2011. It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,325.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Martin Schoeller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Angelina with Blood, 2003 in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Angelina Jolie von Martin Schoeller wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.325,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Schoeller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Angelina with Blood, 2003 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.849,95).
