In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Del Cielo Y De La Tierra by Martín La Rosa. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Martín La Rosa have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Lo Que Queda Del Tiempo was auctioned for USD 31,000.00 (€ 19,922.88).
