Auction result well in line with expectations
The work De La Serie: Lo Profundo Es El Aire by Martín La Rosa was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,733.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martín La Rosa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lo Que Queda Del Tiempo, which sold at auction in May 2008 for USD 31,000.00 (€ 19,922.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit De La Serie: Lo Profundo Es El Aire von Martín La Rosa wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 9.733,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Martín La Rosa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lo Que Queda Del Tiempo beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für USD 31.000,00 (€ 19.922,88) versteigert wurde.
