This work without title by Martin Disler was worth GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,324.81) to a buyer in June this year. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Disler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Preparing for Tonight, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 176,400.00 (€ 164,383.56).
