A top price for Martin Bloch - as previously expected
The work Sketch For 'Afternoon In Bangor' by Martin Bloch was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Sothebys in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,693.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sketch For 'Afternoon In Bangor' is the most expensive artwork by Martin Bloch that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Sketch For 'Afternoon In Bangor' von Martin Bloch wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.693,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
