Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,756.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Bloch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sketch For 'Afternoon In Bangor' in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,693.66).
