Despite a disappointment, a good price for Marta Marcé
This work of art by Marta Marcé could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Damaschinas changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,260.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Damaschinas is the most expensive artwork by Marta Marcé that we have observed at auction so far.
