This artwork by Marta Hoepffner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in May 2018. In the Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie auction, the work „Bewegung“. sold for EUR 4,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marta Hoepffner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selbstbildnis (Solarisation), 1938, which sold at auction in October 2019 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,688.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 93 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marta Hoepffner erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie wurde die Arbeit „Bewegung“. für EUR 4.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marta Hoepffner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selbstbildnis (Solarisation), 1938 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.688,03) versteigert wurde.
