In the American Art auction, the work Songs of Winter, No. 3 sold for USD 300,000.00 (€ 265,792.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marsden Hartley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pre-War Pageant in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 27,395,000.00 (€ 24,194,118.17).
