Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Two works: (i) Because of Her; (ii) The Throne did Such by Mark Titchner for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,929.03). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Mark Titchner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Find Our World in Yours in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,213.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two works: (i) Because of Her; (ii) The Throne did Such von Mark Titchner für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.929,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mark Titchner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Find Our World in Yours im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.213,40).
