Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mark Manders was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2015. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Manders achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled Head in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 41,800.00 (€ 35,966.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mark Manders wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Manders erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled Head im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 41.800,00 (€ 35.966,27).
