Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Resevior (green and rose) by Mark Innerst was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,667.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mark Innerst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Distant View in May last year with an auction result of USD 35,280.00 (€ 32,876.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Resevior (green and rose) von Mark Innerst kam im Juli 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.667,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mark Innerst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Distant View im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.280,00 (€ 32.876,71).
