Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Witch's Mirror". by Mark Flood was sold in the From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human auction at VAN HAM in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 24,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 19,008.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mark Flood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Star Channel in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Witch's Mirror". von Mark Flood wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human bei VAN HAM versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 24.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 19.008,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mark Flood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Star Channel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
