This artwork by Mark Dion achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. In the TO LIVE WITH ART: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection auction, the work Waterfowl "Duck, Duck, Goose" sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,160.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mark Dion; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Babel sold at auction in March 2018 with the realized price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,175.32).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mark Dion; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Babel im März 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.175,32).
