Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,750.00. Admittedly, works by Marius Bauer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Minarets; The Hagia Sophia, Istanbul in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 61,500.00.

Die Arbeit Balinese women with offerings at the templegate Bali von Marius Bauer wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marius Bauer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Minarets; The Hagia Sophia, Istanbul im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 61.500,00.
